Last Thursday, March 29th, Shelley and Chelsea took a trip down to Garrison School for the Chefs in the Classroom program. We taught Mrs. Green and Miss Timmons' kindergarteners all about onions, carrots, turnips and parsnips. We wrapped up with a tasty demonstration on how to make a delicious and simple onion dip (see the recipe below to make some yourself!).
This is a great early spring dish. It's quick to put together, it's healthy, and you can substitute for other ingredients you have on hand. Serves 4-8 people.
1 lb of noodles (We like bean threads, rice noodles or Chinese wheat noodles but Spaghetti will also do.)
